Stage 1 News

Year 1

1K students have been busy creating special artwork to honour our school’s 150th anniversary. They focused on the oldest building – the iconic Belltower , capturing its timeless charm through lead pencil sketches.

This project not only helped students develop their observation and drawing skills but also connected them to our school’s rich history. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and look forward to sharing their beautiful work with the whole school community.

Year 2

Thank you to all our parents and carers who attended Education Week. It was wonderful to see our students proudly sharing their learning in classrooms and showcasing their talents through the choir and dance group.

A few important reminders and upcoming events:

  • Safety reminder: Students, parents and carers should not enter classrooms before or after school to look for lost belongings. This is an important safety requirement. Please ensure all items are clearly labelled. If a student misplaces a school uniform item or lunchbox, they can use an alternative item until their belongings are located.

  • Week 5: Public Speaking: Public Speaking will commence during class time next week. All students are expected to prepare and participate as part of our English program.

  • Week 6: Book Week Parade: Our Book Week Parade will be held on Wednesday, 26 August. Students are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite book character.

  • Week 9: Swimming Program: The swimming program forms part of our PDHPE syllabus, and all students are expected to participate, even if they attend swimming lessons outside of school. If you require financial assistance with the program, please speak with the office.

Thank you for all your continued support.
