St George Performing Arts Festival (SPAF)
Congratulations to all of our talented students who proudly represented our school at the St George Performing Arts Festival this week!
We are incredibly proud of the dedication, confidence and teamwork demonstrated by our Chinese Dance, Year 6 Girls Dance, String Ensemble, Stage 2 and 3 Choir and Performing Band. Each group showcased their talent and commitment, entertaining audiences and making our school community proud.
A huge congratulations to all students and staff involved for their outstanding performances!
3-6 Athletics Carnival
This year's athletics carnival was an absolute blast. All students from years 3-6 gave their best in all their chosen events. The carnival offered plenty of fun and plenty of track and field sports. Vibrant house colours and energetic chants filled the oval for the years 3-6 athletics carnival. While races were exciting, the outstanding sportsmanship stole the show. Faster runners cheered for those behind and everyone waited patiently in the stands for their events to come around.

Semester 2 SRC Induction Ceremony
On Wednesday 29 July, our school held the Semester 2 SRC Induction Ceremony. Congratulations to all students in Years 1–6 and the Support Unit who received their SRC Badge — a well-deserved recognition of their commitment to representing their peers.
Following the ceremony, our new representatives took part in a training session and began planning ideas to improve our school. We look forward to seeing everything they achieve this semester.
Premier's Spelling Bee Regional Finals
Congratulations to our two students who represented our school at the Premier's Spelling Bee Regional Finals, competing against students from 30 different schools. Bobbie took part in the Stage 2 competition and finished in an outstanding 8th place, while Curtis represented us in Stage 3 and placed in the top 20. Both students should be very proud of their achievements — well done, Bobbie and Curtis!
Gymnastics NSW State Championships
At the Recent Gymnastics NSW State Championships , Alicia was recently crowned the Silver Medalist in her Clubs Routine in NSW as well as 5th Overall individually in NSW for 2026 ! This is an outstanding achievement!
In the same Event , Sonia received a 5th Placing position in NSW for her Clubs routine. Sonia is one of the youngest in NSW and is also a fantastic sports student who has a very exciting future ahead of her in Gymnastics.
Both students are now training to head to Queensland in September for the Australia Clubs Championships.

Lost Property
Reminder: Please label all your child's clothing and personal belongings so they can be returned to them if lost.
At the end of each day, a large collection of clothing and containers are left behind. Lost property can be located outside the library.
Parents are encouraged to go through this to check for lost property at drop-off or pick-up time.
