For those not aware of the history behind the cup, Brendan Ryan (’91) was diagnosed in 1989 with leukaemia whilst in Year 10 at Trinity College. He was left with severe physical impairments and confined to a wheelchair following medical treatment during his long battle with the illness. To recognise Brendan’s fighting spirit. The Brendan Ryan Cup began in 2001. Brendan is a remarkable Old Boy who continues to excel in life.
The Trinity-Terrace Old Boys' Association, in partnership with Assure are delighted to offer Members of TOBA access to our Members Assistance Program (MAP). The MAP simulates an Employment Assistant Program (EAP) often available through an employer, with the provision of confidential solution focused support. TOBA Members and their eligible family will be able to access up to four fully subsidised sessions with professional counsellors, wellbeing and diet coaching, legal advice and financial consultation to name a few. This service is completely CONFIDENTIAL and provides up to four fully subsidises sessions per person.
