Clayfield College Foundation Welcome

Building a Legacy of Opportunity for Every Clayfield Student
As we begin another exciting year at Clayfield College, the Foundation is proud to continue championing a culture of generosity that uplifts every student, today and far into the future. While all groups across our College community play an important role in nurturing school spirit, the Foundation remains the dedicated philanthropic arm of the College, ensuring that all funds raised are strategically reinvested into initiatives that enhance learning, enrich student experiences, and build a powerful legacy for generations to come.
Each year, Giving Day brings our entire Clayfield family together in an extraordinary celebration of generosity, community pride, and shared vision. In 2025, our community once again rallied with passion and purpose, raising an incredible $282,935 from 586 donations, a result that far exceeded expectations and demonstrated what is possible when we consider making the NEXT possible together.
Funds raised through Giving Day have an immediate and tangible impact. Recent achievements made possible through donor support include:
- Dedicated Foundation Scholarship
- Foundation Courtyard (Secondary School Precinct)
- Cardio and Strength and Conditioning Rooms
- New digital scoreboards and screens in the PE Centre
- Mountain bike trailer and fleet of mountain bikes
- Black Box Studio
- Refurbished Boarding House Kitchen and Dining Room
These enhancements directly enrich the daily experience of Clayfield students and strengthen the College’s long-term vision for holistic education, and we invite you to be a part of Giving Day 2026 on Tuesday 16 June.
Every dollar entrusted to the Foundation is carefully directed to projects that deliver meaningful, lasting value. In 2025 alone, the Foundation distributed over $288,000 to the College across capital works, scholarships, bursaries, and transformative learning opportunities.
Our investments support:
- Capital Works Projects – enhancing and revitalising College facilities.
- Scholarships and Bursaries – ensuring more students can access a Clayfield education, including the introduction of the Swimming Excellence Scholarship from 2024 and the Foundation Scholarship from 2027.
Opportunities of Excellence Program – providing experiences that ignite passion, creativity, and confidence, including a standout collaboration with acclaimed artist Kate Ceberano at On the Green 2025.
These initiatives are made possible entirely through the generosity of our extended Clayfield family, current and past parents, Old Collegians, staff, and friends and guided by a committed and skilled Board of Directors, who bring deep experience from across the College community and the wider professional sector. The Foundation Board is comprised of directors appointed by the PMSA Council, as well as representatives from the wider school community, including the Old Collegians’ Association and the Parents & Friends Association. This diverse leadership ensures strong governance, strategic oversight, and a deep connection to the values and aspirations of the Clayfield community.

Their stewardship strengthens the Foundation’s ability to invest wisely, plan boldly, and ensure that every philanthropic contribution directly enhances the educational experience of our students, both now and into the future.
The Foundation’s work reflects a simple but powerful belief: when we invest in our students, we invest in the future. Whether funding major campus enhancements or supporting individual students through scholarships, our mission remains unwavering, to empower young people with the environment, tools, and opportunities they need to let their light shine.
As we look ahead through 2026, we invite our community to stay connected, get involved, and continue championing the spirit of philanthropy that sets Clayfield College apart. If you would like to know more about becoming involved with the Foundation or partnering with us as a Matching Donor on Giving Day, please reach out to Foundation and Alumni Manager Meg Graham at mgraham@clayfield.qld.edu.au.
