Watch out for a new face in the ASBK Australian Superbikes paddock in 2026 – rising West Aussie star Lauchy W.

The 16-year-old, who won the 2025 WA Production title after putting the issue beyond doubt with a stellar final round clean sweep, is currently lapping Phillip Island on a Stop & Seal Yamaha YZF-R6 in anticipation of making his debut for the team in the Kawasaki Motors Australia Supersport class from February 20-22.

With reigning Supersport champion Jack Mahaffy unlikely to return to Stop and Seal in 2026, Williams, Tom Toparis Racing (Ducati Panigale V2) and Ryan Yanko Racing #82 (Panigale V2) are firming as the team’s three-pronged attack on the Supersport/Superport Next Gen classes. Well Done Lauchy!

Congratulations Rafferty!

Rafferty travelled to Sydney with the WA Under 14 Futsal team to compete at the National Championships, where he made a strong impact, recording several goals and assists. Following his impressive performances, he has been selected for the Australian Under 15 Representative Futsal team and will tour Europe in spring.
