School Advisory Council Annual General Meeting

The St John's School Advisory Council AGM will be held on Tuesday 25 November at 7pm in the Staffroom. If you are interested in finding out more about the role of the SAC then please come along. Everyone is welcometo attend. We are looking for new members in 2026 so if you are interested this is a great opportunity to attend.

With Hope and Gratitude Column

Aligned with our school theme of “HOPE” for the year, the SAC explored the idea of introducing a Parent page in the newsletter called “With Hope and Gratitude Column” to express or show courage for things felt or observed in our community and invite your submissions to principal@sjmitcham.catholic.edu.au

We extend our heartfelt thanks to many parents who gave up their time to assist at the fete. This huge event could not be so successful without your support. Thankyou for giving up your time and enthusiasm to help setup, cleanup and serve on the stalls. Thankyou for your donations and for coming along to join in the fun.

We would especially like to thank our parents who were Stall Coordinators.

Thankyou to the Dalton Family for cordinating the Bric a Brac stall.

Thankyou to Emir Bajcic and Emily Boyd for coordinating the Toy Stall.

Thankyou to Julie Taualii for coordinating the Snow Cones, Fairy Floss and the Popcorn Stalls.

We really are grateful for you taking on these major roles and for all of the time that you gave to making these stalls so successful.

Thankyou to our school parent rep on the fete Committee, Rohan Sutton. The time that you have given over the many years of your children at St John's is really appreciated. It is a big commitment coming along to the various Fete Committee Meetings and especailly in the lead up to the fete helping to bring it all together.

We hope that Rohan has inspired some new families to join the Fete committee for next year to ensure that our school is represented.
