Netball NSW Tamworth Schools Cup  

 

Junior School had two teams participate (Unicorns and Butterflies) in the Netball NSW Tamworth Schools Cup. Great fun was had by all, the Unicorns are pictured below.

 

 

Calrossy Secondary entered seven teams  in the 7/8 and 9/10 divisions.

The Calrossy Hawks qualified for the regional finals with an undefeated run in the competition.

 

AICES Hockey

 

Congratulations to our hockey players who have excelled themselves in representative teams and beyond.

 

Lyla Davidson, Hannah O'Brien, Ella Tanna and Charlotte Williams represented AICES at the CIS U15 Carnival and selection trials. Congratulations to Ella and Charlotte who were selected for the Under 15 CIS Team.

 

Ella Tanna, Olivia Coombes and Eva Hayes also attended the Opens CIS Carnival  and Trials at Pennant Hills.  AICES competed well and placed second based on goal difference.  Ella was selected in the Opens CIS Team.

 

Tom Holmes and Eddie Bates represented AICES in Sydney at the CIS Carnival and Trials. The AICES team brought home the silver medal, with Eddie selected in the team and Tom first shadow.

 

AICES Cross Country

 

Congratulations to the following students who will represent in AICES Cross Country this week. (Olivia Coombes, Ella Fittler, Jasmine Harris, Isabel O'Connell, Charley Pickens)

 

The following students will represent at CIS Cross Country next Thursday 6th June.

AICES Girls Sevens Trials

Liv Steer attended HRIS trials in Sydney last week, and came up against a strong field of contenders. Congratulations Liv!

 

Soccer/Football 

The Bill Turner Trophy U15s girls side will play Carinya this week in the Regional semi-final to progress to the regional final.

The Calrossy 1st XI Boys Football team recently contested the HRIS Gala Day with some narrow losses in opening rounds sending them to the bottom half of the draw for final games.

 

 

Basketball 

 

 Hannah Hurley represented AICES at the CIS Opens Girls Basketball Carnival. She started every game and the AICES team placed 4th overall.
