District Cross Country Results

Congratulations to all students who participated in the District Cross Country today, Courtenay Gardens PS came 2nd overall, which is fantastic. Special mention to the following students who made it in the top 10 and will progress to Division -U9/10 girls Brooke W- 4th place U9/10 boys Jude D- 5th placeU9/10 boys Asher H- 6th placeU9/10 boys Yousef Z- 8th placeU11 girls Laya S- 1st placeU11 girls Jayda D- 6th placeU11 boys Puneet B- 3rd placeU12 girls Zainab R- 5th placeU12 girls Addy M- 9th placeU12 boys Mason H- 8th place good luck to these students who will compete at the Division on 29th of May at Pakenham Football Ground (Toomuc Recreation Reserve).

Upcoming event- Grade 3-6 School Athletics Carnival

This year’s Athletics Day event for Grade 3-6 students is being held at Casey Fields Athletics Track on Friday 21st June. Students will catch a bus from the school and travel to Casey Fields Athletics Track in the morning after 9am; and then return school by approximately 3pm. Students will participate in athletic events demonstrating the skills they have learnt in PE class. There is a cost of $12 per student which will go towards the transportation and venue hiring costs. Please go onto the compass event to provide payment and consent, by Monday 17th of July. Students are encouraged to wear clothing of their House colour and suitable athletic wear like runners, shorts and t-shirts. Warm clothes are required for students to wear when they are not participating in events.
