Milo's Birthday Celebrations!

On Friday the 24th of May the prep students and teachers celebrated Milo’s birthday party. This year we are using the reading program ‘Little Learners Love Literacy’. As part of that program the students read a book called ‘Milo’s Birthday Surprise’ which introduces the students to different characters who each represent a different letter name and sound. 

Our preps have now officially been introduced to the first 26 letter sounds. To celebrate the occasion, we had a party including a disco, outside sports activities, party food and party games including pass the parcel and pin the tail on Zoe the zebra. The students also had fun by dressing up as their favorite character. This was a fun day for all involved.

We are so proud of all the hard work our preps have been doing and can not wait to continue watching as our little readers continue to develop their skills throughout the year.
