Sporting Achievements

Congratulations to Cooper and Aarlen who competed at the South Coast Carnival earlier this week.  Both boys were selected in the Oceanic touch football side. Well done boys. 

Congratulations to Tyler who was selected in the Oceanic Cross Country team after putting in a spectacular run at the Oceanic race. Good luck for the South Coast Carnival next week.    

Oceanic Cross Country

Well done to all of our cross country runners who competed at the Oceanic Carnival last week. It was a super windy and slightly soggy course that made for a tough race. This didn’t phase our runners and they all got stuck into their races showing true grit, determination and the Tally Way to do themselves and the school proud. Thank you to Mr Darryl for being our team manager and ensuring all students got to their races.  

Allschools Oztag

Our Oztag students having been training hard before school in preparation for the upcoming QLD Allschools Carnival next term. Thank you to our coaches Mr King, Mr Ireland, Mrs Slattery and myself who will be coaching the teams over the coming weeks and for the carnival. Parents are reminded to keep a close eye on ClassDojo for information regarding the carnival coming out as it presents. 

Running Club

Running Club is back up and running on Friday mornings and will kick off next week. This term students will be focusing on their sprinting skills in preparation for the sports days at the end of this term. Thank you to Mr Sinton who will be taking the Running Club for the remainder of the term.
