Over the past few weeks, Stage 3 students have been exploring position and coordinates in Mathematics. They have developed their understanding of the Cartesian plane by locating, plotting, and describing points using ordered pairs. Students have applied their knowledge through a range of engaging activities, strengthening their spatial awareness, problem-solving skills, and ability to interpret and follow coordinate-based directions.
Over the past few weeks, students have been learning about biographies in class. They have explored the purpose and structure of biographies, identifying key features such as chronological order, factual information, and important life events. Students have researched notable individuals and practised writing engaging biographies, developing their skills in planning, organising information, and using appropriate language to inform their readers.








In music the students have been exploring and learning to play the ukulele. They have been developing their musical skills by learning basic chords, strumming patterns, and simple songs. Through hands-on practice and collaboration, students have built confidence, improved their listening skills, and gained an appreciation for making music. It has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm and progress as they continue their ukulele journey.
