Extra-Curricular Activities
The beginning of Term 2 brings many new opportunities for students to be involved in different clubs and activities at the College. Some recently advertised activities include crochet club, debating, representative netball for boys and girls, public speaking, touch football, dopamine room. Upcoming this term we also have Opti-MINDS, Science activities and many more. These experiences are advertised to the students through Daily Notices and can be accessed at any time via the Student Portal.
Subject Spotlight – Science
Students have started this term learning their way around the Science Labs. Focusing on lab safety, students are working to understand laboratory procedures, learning how to use science specific equipment. Students were given the exciting opportunity to gain their 'Bunsen Burner' licence by demonstrating safe lighting and use of this important piece of equipment. Following this, students will be exploring the topics of States of Matter and Chemistry.
