NECOM Band

This year our school has started a Band program  through NECOM in Armidale. 

Each week  the students involved from Year 4 and 5 have begun learning some brass and woodwind instruments and are also learning to read music. It’s been a challenging, amazing and rewarding experience. 

Today our students are meeting in Armidale with other band students from around the region, to play at the Mega Band Day. We wish them all a fantastic time of further developing their musical skills as well as working in a large group, making connections with other students and tutors and having the opportunity to perform for a friendly audience at the completion of the day.
