Remembrance Day

Last Tuesday, 11th November St Joseph’s school captains, Matt and Macie and Year 4, attended the Remembrance Day community service at the Glen Innes Anzac Park. 

At the same time, we also commemorated Remembrance Day at school with a very reflective service led by our students. We are very proud of our whole school participation in this significant day where we pause and reflect on the sacrifice of all the servicemen and women who have fought to protect our freedom. We especially thank Year 3 and Year 4 for reciting the poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ at the services.
