Showcase Dinner

Congratulations to our students who were invited to perform at the Showcase dinner event on Friday 27 October. Showcase is a key event in the department’s calendar, bringing together senior department stakeholders, including Minister Grace Grace and Director-General Michael De’Ath, to recognise equity and excellence across state education.

The Gap SHS Tula Gallery presents the final exhibition for the year – Junior Visual Art SHOWCASE.

2024 Visual Art Studio Foundation Program

Students commencing at The Gap State High School next year can apply for the Year 7 Visual Art Studio Foundation program 2024. See attached the application details for enrolment into this extension program.  Applications close 22 November 2023.

@ The Tula Gallery

Year 10 Visual Art and Design students recently exhibited artworks in the Tula Gallery at The Gap State High School. Those included ranged from collaboratively created ceramic vessels to detailed collage compositions exploring social justice issues through to narrative representations of joy, humour and beauty. The exhibition was open to students during lunch breaks. 

Stay tuned for the upcoming promotion of our end-of-the-year, comprehensive Junior Visual Art Celebration SHOWCASE, which will be open to the whole school community.
