Year 4 Non-Camper Program

While some of our Year 4 students headed off to camp, our non-campers had an action-packed three days at school! We made the most of our time together with a range of fun, hands-on and engaging activities.
We enjoyed a STEM rotation, where students became engineers and problem-solvers. They designed and tested paper planes, built paper bridges and towers, created plastic ruler catapults and even had a go at writing instructions for a robot to follow! Students worked together, tested their ideas and made changes when things didn’t quite go to plan.
We also put our maths skills to the test with a Harry Potter Maths Escape Room, solving a range of mathematical challenges to unlock clues and complete the escape. 🪄🧙♂️
There were plenty of opportunities for learning through technology too, with Kahoot challenges covering multiplication, riddles and flags from around the world. Students also enjoyed spending some quiet time reading books on Get Epic, choosing books that interested them.
Of course, there was plenty of time for fun! We watched a movie, played a variety of class games and enjoyed spending time with our friends.
It was a wonderful three days filled with learning, creativity, teamwork, problem-solving and lots of laughs! We are very proud of how our students made the most of their time at school and created some great memories together. 💙
