Leonis House

Leonis House Update

Leonis House has had an exceptional start to the year, marked by outstanding achievements in Athletics, spirited participation in Cross Country, successful fundraising efforts, and remarkable talent showcased in the recent Talent Quest.

New Staff Member

Leonis House would like to warmly welcome Kevin Joshua, who has started at St John's Regional College this week as the new Youth Minister. We look forward to having you as a member of Leonis House!

Athletics Carnival 2025

At the House Athletics Carnival held at Casey Fields in Term 1, Leonis House demonstrated remarkable athletic prowess, securing second place in the overall competition and first place in the House Spirit Award. This victory is a testament to the dedication and hard work of all Leonis students who participated and supported their peers. This is especially true for the team of Year 12 students, led by House Captains Quratullane Ali and Sean Pascual, who organised posters, signs and cheering for fellow Leonis students throughout the whole day and truly earned their first place for House Spirit. Congratulations to all involved, and thank you to the Leonis staff for their ongoing support.

Cross Country Success

Well done to the students in Leonis who participated in the House Cross Country earlier this Term, and especially to those who qualified for the SIS Cross Country as a result.

SIS Cross Country Highlights

In the SIS Cross Country competition held earlier this week, Leoni's students continued to excel. Keleman Dominic was awarded first place in his age group, and Martin Mading was awarded second place in his. Congratulations to both of these Leonis students! And well done to all students who were involved.

Founders Day Fundraising

Leoni's students demonstrated their commitment to community and school spirit through successful fundraising efforts for Founders Day. Their enthusiasm and dedication set a positive tone for the Term, with more initiatives planned as we approach MAD Day at the end of the Term.

Talent Quest

The Talent Quest in Week 4 was a resounding success, with numerous Leonis students showcasing their diverse talents. Their performances captivated the audience and highlighted the vibrant, creative spirit within our House.

Looking Ahead

As we continue through the Term, Leonis House remains committed to excellence in all areas. We encourage all students to participate actively in upcoming events and continue to embody the values of teamwork, perseverance, and school spirit.

Well done to all Leonis students for a remarkable term. Good luck to all students completing Exams this week and next week. We will be thinking of you and wishing you all the best. Let's keep the momentum going!
