Staff News

We warmly welcome Holly Pirotta to our school as a Learning Support Officer. Holly will work three days per week.

Hi I’m Holly Pirotta, the students call me Miss Holly! I have been doing my placement at St John Vianneys since April 23 and I’m so excited to be joining the SJV team as an LSO until the end of the year! I’m a big fan of Pokémon and the Richmond football club, and I can solve a Rubik’s in under two minutes!

Today we welcome back Mrs Leyla to SJV  after her extended break!!   Our thanks to Sam Pirotta and Rachael Gregory for their work in reception. It is vitally important that we provide a welcoming helpful presence to all parents, students and visitors at reception.

Returning / Not Returning to St John Vianney's in 2024

Thank you to the parents who have completed the Operoo Form  asking you to confirm whether your child will be returning to SJV in 2024. Your assistance in completing the form promptly is vital in assisting  us in our 2024 planning process.

MACSSIS Survey

The annual MACSIS survey has been sent out to families yesterday. Each family should have received  an email with a link and individual PIN. Please take the time to complete the survey as we value your feedback and are then able to make informed decisions for the future.

The completion of the survey is even more important given the school will undertake an independent review in 2024. The letter below gives more detailed information about the surveys.

Classroom Helpers: Thank you

A big thank-you to all of our parent and grandparents that have volunteered their time to be a classroom helper.  Last week we had 15 classroom helpers assisting students with reading in various classes across the week.
