Year 10 Elevate Study Program
On Tuesday, 5 May, Year 10 students will participate in the Elevate Study Program during periods 5 and 6. This targeted program has been organised to help students strengthen their study habits and develop the skills needed to approach their learning with greater confidence and independence.
As students move through the senior years of schooling, the academic demands placed on them increase significantly. The Elevate Study Program is designed to equip students with practical strategies in areas such as time management, organisation, note-taking, and effective revision techniques. By focusing on these key skills, the program aims to support students in maximising their learning outcomes and preparing them for future assessments and examinations.
Research consistently shows that explicit instruction in study skills can have a positive impact on student performance and wellbeing. Providing students with structured strategies not only improves academic results but also helps reduce stress by giving them clear approaches to managing their workload.
Students will engage with structured booklets throughout the sessions, and an evaluation sheet will be provided as part of the program to reinforce learning and gather valuable feedback on their experience.
We look forward to seeing our Year 10 students benefit from this valuable opportunity to build skills that will support their ongoing academic journey.
