Parents and Visitors on School Grounds
All parents and visitors are required to report to the school office before entering classrooms or other areas of the school during school hours (9.00am – 3.30pm). Parents & Visitors attending classrooms for volunteering or other approved purposes must hold a current Working with Children Check, sign in via the Passtab app, and wear the visitor’s pass provided by the school.
If you need to deliver lunches or other items to your child/children, or speak with them during school hours, please report to the office and staff will assist you accordingly.
These procedures are in accordance with Department of Education policy and are in place to support the safety and wellbeing of all students, staff and visitors.
Student Absences/Attendance
The school expects children to be punctual and attend regularly. If your child is absent from school, we ask that you record the absence on Compass or contact the school. If no absence has been recorded on Compass, or we have not heard from you by 9.30am on the day of absence, we will contact you to confirm your child is with you. If your child is late to school, they must report to the office to be given a late pass.
If your family is going on a family holiday, please advise your child's teacher prior to the trip taking place, as well as updating on the Compass App.
If you are collecting your child from First Aid, our office staff will sign your child out on your behalf.
