What's been happening this week?

SYMMETRY MONSTERS

The 3/4s have started to explore lines of symmetry in various shapes. 

HEATING UP

The Year 3/4 students have started researching their chosen topics for their information reports. They have made links to our Inquiry Unit ‘Heating Up.’

They will be presenting their projects to various classes later this term. 

DONUT MATHS

In Mathematics, some of the Year 3/4 students played Donut multiplication! It was loads of fun and helped with their fluency and their teamwork. 

READING FUN

On Tuesday this week, the prep students came into 1/2C to practice reading out loud. The 1/2C students were paired up and listened to them read, change books and continue reading. We also listened to a funny book about a duck riding a bike and shared our predictions.
