RE & Wellbeing

Dear Families,
It was lovely to see the students yesterday after their holidays and my absence from school due to an ankle injury I sustained last term. You will see me hobbling along in a moonboot for a while longer, but it was great to be back to see the children's happy faces. I hope your Easter weekend and the holidays provided a chance to recharge.
We have a busy term ahead in the Religious Education and Wellbeing space!
We celebrate the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist this term, along with the Sacred Heart Feast Day, class masses and a special event planned for family week in Week 4.
There are some new wellbeing initiatives ahead at Sacred Heart which you will hear more about soon - the first being an Information Evening next week.
Rosetta and I will be presenting a KEEPING KIDS SAFE ONLINE Parent Information Evening this Wednesday from 6pm - 7pm.
The evening will provide information on social media restrictions, current research about mobile phones, online games and safety and E-Safety advice about Youtube and Roblox. We really encourage parents to come along - childminding is provided on the night!
LENT - Project Compassion THANKS!
We are grateful for the compassion and generosity shown by our Sacred Heart community during the Lenten Project Compassion appeal and Harmony Day Big Water Walk.
Sacred Heart donated $433.55 to Caritas this week after our fundraising efforts last term - a big thank you and well done to everyone who was able to donate!
Take Care,
Kate
