Deputy Principal

Dear Sacred Heart Community,

I hope and pray that Easter time over the holidays was a special time for you all, and that you didn't eat toooo much chocolate (unlike our family!).

Welcome back to another term of fun learning as we explore the Sciences across F-6, in particular Chemical and Biological Science as part of our Inquiry units. Lots of fun activities and excursions planned (Scienceworks, CERES to name but a few) as the students explore the wonderful world of science and how things grow!

Speaking of how things grow, our Gardening Gurus, the greenfinger group, have been busy mulching soil and plasnting vegies for the autumn/winter. Bokchoy, green beand and beetroot are some seedlings that were planted; along with dill, parsley, coriander and mint our graden plots are looking quite nice.

A big shout out to Chloe, Austin (Sustainability Leaders) and Maddy, Mariana and Abigail in Year 3/4 for all your work and dedication!
