Paisley Campus News

Dear Parents & Guardians,

It has been a great start back to term 4. I hope all students had a relaxing school holiday period and are feeling refreshed for the remainder of the year.

Year 12 ‘Spirit Week’

Last week, our Year 12 students celebrated their final week of formal classes. On Wednesday, we will come together to celebrate the cohort at their final assembly, recognising their achievements and wishing all students the very best for those preparing for their final written exams.

2027 Programs

Our pathway team are in the process of finalising student programs for 2027. Confirmation letters and booklist information have been sent out in preparation for the year 12 LEAP orientation program LEAP (November 16th – December 3rd). Year 11 and 10 confirmation letters will follow later in the term.

Year 11 & 12 VM Structured Workplace Learning

Well done to all year 11 and 12 VM students who completed Work placements over the past 2 weeks. This provides students with real hands-on experience aligned to their VET fields of choice.

Year 12 VM student Daire had the opportunity to work at Williamstown Football Club. A positive experience for them before completing a Diploma of Sport with Diploma of Event Management in 2027.

 Fashion Masterclass

Over the holidays, I had the opportunity to attend a Fashion and Beauty Marketing Masterclass at Nation Fashion College. The session focused on students interested in fashion, beauty, social media and marketing. Sephora social media & Communications Executive, Alex Mackintosh, was the keynote sharing insights into brand development, social media campaigns and careers in the beauty industry.

We explored content creation, social media strategy, brand storytelling and career pathways across fashion and marketing. We were lucky enough to receive Sephora products, and we were presented with a certificate of completion to support future applications.

I really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in pursuing a career in fashion, beauty or marketing.
