Term Three Sports Wrap-up

The student sports leadership team created tournaments running across multiple weeks at lunchtime for five cohorts at Preston High, promoting an inclusive environment encouraging physical activity and building a sense of sporting community at the school. 

The sports included volleyball, badminton and netball helping to maximise participation through the introduction of less mainstream sports and encouraging a wider range of students to participate from across the school. 

Interschool sports this term included chess at Reservoir HS with Preston winning the tournament overall and taking home more than eight medals across all age categories. Our school also waved 20 kids off to regionals in week 9. 

Sports also included interschool field hockey, girls basketball and table tennis competitions with Preston performing well across all events.
