Car Park Safety and Etiquette – A Shared Responsibility

Please click on this link to watch a safety video prepared by some of our students.

As a college community, we all play a role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our students, staff, and families—especially during the busy drop-off and pick-up periods. Recently, we have received several reports of unsafe driving practices, excessive honking, and instances of aggressive behaviour in our car park.

We understand that the car park can be a stressful place during peak times, but we kindly remind all families to exercise patience, courtesy, and care. Our shared goal is to create a calm and safe environment where every member of our community feels respected and secure.

A few important reminders:

  • Drive slowly and remain alert – Children are unpredictable and may move unexpectedly.
  • Follow staff directions and signage – These are in place to help maintain smooth traffic flow and ensure everyone’s safety.
  • Kiss & Drop - Please do not leave your vehicle if you are in the kiss and drop area.
  • Avoid using your horn unnecessarily – This can be startling for children and disruptive to others.
  • Treat others with kindness and respect – Courtesy goes a long way in creating a positive atmosphere.

Aggressive driving or behaviour is not acceptable and will not be tolerated on school grounds. If you witness unsafe conduct, please report it to the College so we can take appropriate action.

Let’s continue to work together to model respectful and responsible behaviour for our children. Thank you for your support in keeping our school car park safe and welcoming for all.

School Fees Statements

Instalment 1 Fees Statements will be issued to parents via email from 11 February, with payment due by 13 March 2026. Flexible Payment Plans are offered in Term 1 to support families with the payment of School fees. Details on how to set these up are included in your statement.

Support is also available for families experiencing financial hardship. Families are encouraged to contact their school Principal to arrange a confidential conversation. Updated information on applying for school fee assistance is available on the CSPD website here.

Families are encouraged to review the recent changes to our School Fees Policy on our website. These changes apply to all CSPD Schools.

Each parent or guardian who signed the enrolment form will receive an emailed fee statement to the email address specified in the Compass Portal. If you share a family email address, you will receive two separate emails addressed to each parent.

Statement emails will be sent from  cspdfees@parra.catholic.edu.au

To ensure your statements are successfully delivered, please keep your inbox from reaching capacity and add this email  to your safe senders list so they are not blocked or marked as spam.

We encourage you to verify your email address and other contact information on the Compass Portal for your School.

Some families may receive a Nil balance statement to confirm all fees have been paid.

If you have not received your statement by 16 February please email cspdfees@parra.catholic.edu.au for assistance.

Kind Regards,

Angela AdamsBilling, Receipting & Services Manager
