Sport around the grounds

Thursday Rep Sport 

Over the past two weeks we have had trials for Year 7 - Year 10 students that wished to trial for a season one rep sport team. Students selected on teams will receive permission forms via Compass which parents/carers will need to complete before the first round of the season. The first game for all sports (oz tag, cricket, volleyball and basketball) is Thursday 19/2/26. If you would like to keep up to date with how our teams are going, please visit the PDSSSC website as results are posted each week. 

Just a reminder, if your child still has a rep sport uniform from last year, can you please ensure this is returned to the school office as soon as possible. Thank you. 

Primary Blacktown Zone Swimming Carnival and PDSSSC Swimming Carnival 

The Primary Blacktown Zone Swimming Carnival is set to take place on 24/2/26. All students that have qualified for this event have been sent a permission form with information regarding the event via Compass. 

The PDSSSC Swimming Carnival is set to take place on 24/3/26. Permission forms will be sent soon via Compass to the students that have qualified for this event. 

Congratulations to all students that participated in the School Swimming Trials towards the end of last year. 

St Luke’s Cross Country Trials - 2/3/26

We will be hosting a School Cross Country event for any student that turns 8 years or older this year, 2026. This event is to be held during school hours and is for competitors only. This event will also serve as an opportunity for students wishing to trial for Zone/Diocesan Cross Country. The details of the event are as follows -

Date: Monday 2/3/26

Location: School oval

St Luke’s Athletics Carnivals 

The Year 7 - Year 12 Athletics Carnival is coming up later this term on 24/3/26. Information and permission forms will be sent out via Compass over the next week or so. Please keep an eye out for this. 

The K-2 and 3-6 Athletics Carnivals will take place during term 2. Dates will be released for these events once finalised and closer to each event.
