Nursing as a Career Day

On the 1st of September, a group of year 10 & 11 students attended the Mildura Base Public Hospital for the Nursing as a Career Day session.

Students heard about different study and career opportunities available to them within our region and beyond. The students then participated in a range of hands on activities based on Midwifery, Mental Health, and General Nursing. All involved had a great day out, learnt some new skills, and come out of the session with a clearer idea on what their pathway might look like.

A big thank you to the Mildura Base Public Hospital for hosting this fantastic careers session, and to our wonderful attendees - you all represented the school in a fantastic way and showed our college values throughout the session and beyond.
