INTERSCHOOL ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

Interschool Athletics Carnival

On Wednesday, 3rd September, around 60 students travelled to the Aero ovals for the annual Secondary School Division Athletics competition.

We were very fortunate to have great weather and competitors in most events.  We had a number of students who were successful of the day.

Results were:

Hayden Rowe - 4th 13yrs Discus 

Aidan Gordon - 3rd 14yrs Javelin 

Cody Laird - 3rd 17yrs Javelin 

Joel Tuifua - 2nd 17yrs Shot Put 

Logan Mansell - 1st 17yrs Shot Put 

George Eastwood - 2nd 18yrs Shot Put and 4th 18yrs Discus

Scarlet Larson - 2nd 13yrs 100m, 1st 400m, 1st Long Jump 

Isabella Manna - 2nd 13yrs High Jump, 6th 800m

Alyssa Smith - 5th 15yrs Long Jump

Sienna Puleio - 4th 14yrs 200m

Brooke Price - 3rd 14yrs Shot Put

Isabell Alchin - 1st 100m, 200m ( New record), 400m, High Jump, Long Jump

We had some Age Group Champions on the day - Scarlett Larson Girls 13yrs and Isabell Alchin Girls 17yrs.

In the Relays we had some good results especially as we had to fill spots and have some students running in the age group above.

Girls 13yrs – 3rd
