As many parents may already know, the Australian Government have passed legislation to enforce a social media ban for all children under the age of 16 that will come into effect from 10 Dec 2025.
This means that any child in this age range will no longer be able to create or maintain accounts on social media platforms, such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, and X (twitter).
The ICT team of St Mary’s College are investigating how to support the Governments social media bans.
