👉  VCE Exams – PA Announcements

A reminder that PA announcements will not be made during class time in order to minimise disruptions and maintain a focused learning environment. Announcements will only take place during Recess and Lunchtime.

With Year 12 VCE exams commencing shortly, we appreciate everyone’s support in helping to create a calm and focused atmosphere across the College.

We understand that unexpected situations may occasionally arise, and we thank you for your patience and understanding as we manage these requests.

👉Mobile Phones ..... please ensure their child adheres to the College policy and does not contact them directly with their mobile phones during school if feeling unwell. Students must present to the College Nurse in which case if necessary you will be contacted to collect your child.  Students are not permitted to use their phones at school.

👉 Student Absence...  if your child is not attending school, please enter their absence on PAM or notify the Office ASAP. It is now compulsory that we have contact from a parent for all absences.  If we have not received a parent notified absence after sending two absent messages you will then be contacted by phone in order for the College to record a reason for the unexplained absence of your child.  To avoid the sms and phone call it is imperative that you enter your child absence via PAM or contact the absentee line.

Failure to provide a reason will result in your child’s attendance record being marked as unexplained, which will negatively affect their school report.

👉 Arriving Late...  All late arrivals MUST sign in at the office prior to going to Homeroom/Class (this eliminates parents receiving an absentee sms messages).

👉 Travelling On A Friends Bus...  a 'adhoc bus travel form' needs to be completed the day before travelling. These forms are available from the College Office.
