Starting out Safely

The City of Stonnington has shared some useful information on understanding child restraints and road safety education at home that was developed from ELAA (Early Learning Association Australia).

ELAA has developed videos in 12 languages and flyers in 22 languages to guide parents and carer through buying, fitting and using child restraints and booster seats in cars.

As Victoria’s official early childhood road safety program, the Road Safety Education team within ELAA (Early Learning Association Australia) have launched multilingual videos and flyers on understanding child restraints and road safety education at home.

The resources aim to inform parents on understanding how to ensure children are safely strapped into their car seat. It also aims at educating children around road signs and road safety.
