WRAP UP Arts Festival 2025

REFRAME WRAP-UP
It was so lovely to see so many families come to our arts festival despite the rain.
The Babajen was buzzing with musical energy!
The new art room was officially opened, and the red ribbon was cut.
A special thank you to all the students that performed in 'Thornbury's Got Talent' and to all the instrumental teacher's that spent so many months preparing their students for their performances.
A huge thank you to all the volunteers, TPS staff, and TIME teachers - both on the day and in the lead-up - for your time and efforts in making the day such a success. The arts festival committee worked hard throughout the year to get the event up and running and we had a last-minute wet weather plan, so it all went smoothly on the day. The committee was made up of Heather, Ali, Di, Micheal, Adrain, Emma, Shelly, Antoinette and Erica.
Check out some of the amazing moments captured by one of our very talented photographer parents; Melanie Cooper @melanie_jayne_photography.

The students got to watch their animations with their families, in the prep/ one room. Thank you, Josh, for organising the animations.
A special thank you to our incredibly committed office staff Kristie and Shirley, who did all the admin leading up to and on the day.
Thank you to David our school principal for supporting our art and music programme.
Thank you to all the families who baked a cake, spent money on the day, helped set up the art works and worked in the stalls. The face painting stall was a huge success run by Elodie, Juneaux, Wanda and Marley. Thank you for giving up your Saturday to support TPS.
A final thank-you to Di Thornley our resident graphic designer extraordinaire! For the last five years Di has designed all our art and graphic images including maps, flyers, posters, billboards, signage and so many any design aspects of the Arts Festival. She has created a culture of designing around a chosen festival theme and we hope to continue that legacy going forward.
Here are some of the amazing posters Di has designed over the last 5 years
We are looking for a new designer or team of designers to work on next year's arts festival.
