Australian Athletics National Championships 

Zoe Ryan

In the last week of term 1 Zoey Ryan Yr 10 finished early to attend the Australian Athletics National Championships in Perth. She competed in the u17 Hammer competition and won the bronze medal. Her throw equalled the second place throw distance but she dropped to third place on a countback. Congratulations Zoey what an achievement!!

 

State Swimming Results.

On Thursday 1st May, 19 students represent Viewbank College at MSAC for the state swimming carnival. Please see below the results from our students.

Yr. 8 NMR Tennis

On Tuesday 29th the year 8 went to Hume Tennis and Community Centre to play in the school tennis. The boys we runners up to Northcote . 

The boys were comprehensive winners in there first 3 rounds, all boys won all their singles and doubles games and represented the school with pride. 

 

Year 7 Baseball and Softball

On Monday 5th May our year 7 boys and girls headed out to Aitken Hill Recreation Reserve to play in the NMR. The boys had a great day out playing baseball and coming home undefeated and the girls finished 3rd.

Both teams played well and represent the school with great style and pride. Well done to all involved. 

 

Division Athletics Carnival

On Thursday 8th May 82 students headed out to Meadow Glen Athletics Track Epping to compete in the Division Athletics Carnival. The students had a great day and represented the college well. Full results will be available on compass soon.
