Year 8 Camp

Peninsula Outdoors 

Year 8 's students headed off to Peninsula Outdoors on this years school camp. 

Students were split in to 2 groups with Ignis and Terra heading of first for 3 days/2 nights followed by Stella and Hydra houses. 

The students we able to enjoy activities like Surfing, Crate Stack, Canoeing, Orienteering and also a Trivia Night.   From all reports both the teachers and the students enjoyed there time and had a lot of fun.

Camp was a valuable experience that allowed me to push myself out of my comfort zone, embrace new challenges, and engage with a range of new students. 

The camp grounds were almost a picturesque scene, with adventurous activities, and a touch of beautiful nature. Each activity had its own unique specialty, and I enjoyed every one of them. 

Surfing was a major highlight of camp, and the staff were incredibly friendly.

They taught the groups, making sure to accommodate to every skill and ability, while ensuring that each individual was safe. 

This activity encouraged students to motivate each other, and fostered towards a passionate environment that I loved participating in. Camp was not just a break from school work, it was an opportunity to experience personal growth and form stronger friendships within our school community.

Everyone had lots of fun with friends and while doing the activities which were crate stacking, canoeing, vertical challenge and many more. My favourite activity was the surfing and it was probably everyone's favourite activity because it isn't something that can do every year. Lot of people also played gaga ball during their free time.  The cooks made delicious food.

My friends and I enjoyed camp so much, it was a great opportunity for team building, having a brilliant time with your friends, and pushing yourself out of you comfort zone to do many fun activities, surfing, canoeing, the vertical challenge and much more!
