Learning is Alive in the Numbat Class

This week in Science, our Year 3/4 Numbats students learned about food chains in ecosystems. They revised producers, consumers and decomposers, and explored how energy moves through living things. Students also learned about primary, secondary and tertiary (apex) consumers.

They took part in a hands-on activity where they became part of a food chain, using yarn to show how all living things are connected and depend on each other to survive. It was great to see students working together and building their understanding of how ecosystems work.
