Buddy Day

On Monday students from Pre-Primary through to Year 6 enjoyed Buddy Day. The children were put into mixed class groups and enjoyed 6 different activities while building new friendships, and for our older children, building their leadership skills.
Sport with Mr P had the children trying out lots of different equipment and games and exploring our new Nature Playground. At the Undercover area, they worked in teams to build Friendship themed words out of a variety of construction toys.
In the Music room lots of laughing and singing could be heard as the children enjoyed games and music activities and in drama Signora Susannah encouraged the children to unleash their creative sides through a variety of fun activities. In the Library the children enjoyed reading and listening to stories, creating bookmarks, and doing mindfulness colouring in. Finally in the STEAM room, all the children made a friendship hand, which was skilfully put together to create a beautiful PVS artwork which will be displayed at the upcoming STEAM Exhibition.
Thank you to the wonderful Education Assistants who lead their groups through the day and the teachers and practicum students who worked so hard to make the day a success.
