Term 1 Sport Update

It has been an action-packed start to Term 1 for sport at Doncaster Secondary College! Our students have represented the school with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship across various inter-school competitions.

Round Robin Highlights:

Senior Sport: Students competed in Girls and Boys Volleyball, Boys Cricket, Boys Tennis, and Girls Softball. A special shoutout to our Girls Softball team, who came together for the first time in many years—an outstanding effort!
Year 8 Sport: Students participated in Boys and Girls Basketball, Boys Tennis, and Boys Cricket. A massive congratulations to our Year 8 Boys Cricket team, who won their Round Robin and will be progressing to the next stage. Well done, boys!
Intermediate Sport: Our students took part in Boys and Girls Volleyball, Boys Tennis, Boys Cricket, and Girls Softball, showing strong performances across all competitions.

Additionally, we saw a thrilling Year 12 vs Year 11 Futsal friendly on Monday, 3rd March. It was an extremely competitive match, with the Year 12 boys securing a 5-4 victory. This was a fantastic spectacle for all who watched, and we look forward to more events like this throughout the term and year.

Friday 7th March – Year 7 Boys Cricket
Thursday 13th March – Staff vs Year 12 Volleyball match at lunchtime in the stadium
Wednesday 19th March – Year 7 Interschool Sport Round Robin
Monday 31st March – Senior Interschool Sport Round Robin
