• What makes you feel the happiest when you are at GEPS?

  - I love visiting students in their classrooms or on the playground and talking with them about their learning, or their family, or their friends, or just what kind of day they are having.  Our students are always excited to share the things they are doing which makes me happy.

   

• What's your favourite thing to do that always makes you feel joyful?

  - Sitting around the table with my family. I have three grown-up children, and we don't always get the chance to be together, so having a beautiful meal together and enjoying their company always makes me joyful.

   

• What is your favourite food that brings you joy?

  - Sometimes it's a family roast, sometimes it's a delicious soup- and sometimes it's chocolate!

   

• If joy were a colour, what colour would it be, and why?

  - I love that light pink that sometimes spreads across the sky at sunrise or sunset. It always brings a smile to my face and a feeling of joy and hope for what a new day might bring!

   

• What's something that made you smile big today?

  - When I saw some students looking after a friend in the playground- they were being so kind and helpful to their friend, and it brought a big smile to my face.

   

• Can you think of a time someone made you feel happy?

  -  Every day at GEPS! GEPS really is a beautiful community, and our students, families and staff make me feel proud and happy. 

   

• Which of your qualities can bring happiness to others?

  - I like to ask questions of the students, families, staff and people around me that show I care about them, and I hope that makes them feel happy and special.

   

• What is your favourite place to visit or have a holiday at? 

  -  I love to be somewhere near the water- anything from turquoise seas and white sandy beaches to rocky creeks running through the bush- if there is water nearby, that's my happy place.
