5/6 Kudos  

This Term, students in 5/6K have been working hard on their grapple projects. We had the Grapple Expo last Friday and were happy to see so many family members come and view the presentations. Students in 5/6K worked in small groups and used problem-solving and collaborative skills to create various artificial intelligence dioramas. 

In Maths, students have been learning about 3D Space, addition and subtraction, perimeter and more. These lessons provide students with the opportunity to implement trial and error strategies, problem solving skills, computation as well as, using mathematical terminology to justify answers.

In writing, students have been researching Australian landmarks using various search engines and used Canva to create a persuasive poster outlining the importance of their landmark and why tourists should visit. They incorporated modal words, figurative language and pictures to make their posters interesting.
