Heritage Matters

A look back at Wagga Wagga's past -  Here we see an image of Wagga Wagga which although undated, is thought to be around 1910. The other two images were location maps submitted with the proposed plans for South Wagga Public School and Wagga Wagga High School where we can clearly see Mt Erin Convent's location, outlined on those maps. 

In 2006 for the very first time, boy boarders were admitted to the Mount Erin Boarding School. This was an historic step for the boarding school, after the closure of Mt Erin High School in 2003. The boarding school is now "home" to over 100 weekly boarders who attend either Kildare Catholic College or Mater Dei Catholic College.
