Paint and Sip - Last Chance to Buy a Ticket!
Our last Paint and Sip session with Instructing artist, Fiona Tweddle- The HAPPI project is on this Friday 21st of August from 6:30pm – 8:30pm

Bookweek Celebrations
Our Book Week celebrations are fast approaching, and we are excited to embrace this year’s theme, “Symphony of Stories.”
Wednesday 26th August
Design Door Gallery Walk:
Shortly after the morning bell, parents and carers are warmly invited to join their child/ren on a gallery walk of the school to view the creatively decorated book week classroom doors.
Dress Up Day:
Students are encouraged to get creative and design a costume inspired by a favourite book character. Use recycled materials or items already available at home to make a costume, or students may choose to wear a costume they already have. A Book Week Parade will be held after the Design Door Gallery Walk. A prize will be awarded for the best dressed in each year level.
Friday 28th August
Author Visit: Ben Wood:
Students from each year level will enjoy a 1 hour session with author Ben Wood. Ben is a children’s book illustrator based in Melbourne. He has illustrated picture books, junior fiction and non-fiction titles, and has had notable listings for the Children Book Council Australia, been shortlisted for Readings Children’s Book Prize, and shortlisted for the Australian Book Industry Awards.
Ben Wood Book Orders:
Parents can order signed copies of Ben Wood's books from The Little Bookroom. Orders close 29th August 2026. Books will be delivered to TPS for collection. Click here for more details.

Father's Day Stall Coming Soon!
Our Father’s Day Stall is on Friday 4th September for our students to buy a special gift for their father, grandfather or special people. The stall will be running from 9am to approximately 3pm. Gifts range from $2 to $15.
Fathers Day Breakfast - Save the Date
Join us bright and early at 7:45 am on Friday 4th September to celebrate Father’s Day with a delicious egg and bacon (or cheese) roll and a hot coffee from our coffee cart, generously supplied by TheirCare. Eftpos available on the day.
Dad's Father's Day Crackerjack Celebration!
Date: Thursday 3rd September, 6pm -11pm
Venue: The Toorak Bowling Club, 9 Mandeville Crescent, Toorak
Tickets: $50 per person (purchase via Qkr!)
Your ticket includes:
- Venue hire
- Access to pool tables
- One complimentary drink on arrival
We will also be running a Reverse Raffle on the night, with great prizes to be won.

Year 6 Bake Sale and Coffee Cart
Enjoy home baked goodies made by our Grade 6 cohort on Friday 18th September from 8.30am to 9am on the basketball court. Cash and card accepted. All proceeds go towards our grade 6 graduation.

A beautiful keepsake to display in your home or a thoughtful gift for grandparents, family members, or friends. Celebrate your child's creativity and take home a treasured piece of art!
Pre-Purchase your Art Show Ticket
Tickets are just $10 per family and are available via QKR or can be purchased at the door on the evening.
Come along and enjoy a fabulous exhibition showcasing the incredible artwork proudly created by TPS students.
There will also be plenty of activities for children and families to enjoy, including:
- Portrait drawing
- Doodle artwork
- Colouring competition

Art Show Raffle
Don't miss your chance to win some fantastic creative prizes! The raffle will be drawn at the TPS Art Show on Thursday 10 September. Prizes include a variety of art and craft supplies, such as: Coloured pencils, markers, crayons, DIY craft kits, paint sets and individual paints. Tickets: $2 each or 3 tickets for $5 on QKR. Art Raffle Donations- Can you help?
We are calling for donations of any new or unused art resources for our upcoming Art Raffle. Donations can be dropped off at the school office prior to the end of term.
All proceeds from the raffle will go towards the purchase of a new kiln for our Art Room. Thank you for your support!
Art Show Volunteers Needed
Many hands make light work!
We are looking for volunteers to assist with hanging artwork and displaying 3D pieces in preparation for the TPS Art Show.
Volunteer dates:
- Tuesday 8 September
- Wednesday 9 September
- Thursday 10 September
- Friday 11 September

Art Smock
Purchase your child's Art smock today on QKR for $20. Orders close Tuesday 1st September (suitable for children aged 5–10 years). Children will decorate their smock with paint pens in a special art class.
Strike Soccer School Rep Team
