NAPLAN Information

The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) is a literacy and numeracy assessment that students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 sit each year. It is the only national assessment all Australian students have the opportunity to undertake.

NAPLAN occurs in Term 1, starting the week of 11 March. If you have any questions or concerns about NAPLAN please contact your child's coordinator.

An information brochure for parents and carers is attached below.

Secondary Assessment & Reporting Update

Many of our classes have now completed major assessments in their classes and their results can be found on compass.

Where to Look: You can view your child’s results in the Learning Tasks section on Compass. We’ve attached a step-by-step guide to help you navigate to this area.

What Will You Find: Each learning task will include some feedback (this might be a written comment, a detailed rubric, or even uploaded work) as well as a Grade/Performance Level – indicating your child’s achievement on the task.

Looking over Learning Tasks with your child helps you stay connected to their progress, celebrate their successes, and support them where needed.
