📚✨ Welcome to the Library! ✨📚

Hi there! I'm Gabby Duncan, the new school librarian here at Lyndhurst Primary School, and I'm beyond excited to join this vibrant community. With a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and a lifelong love for books, I'm here to help the kids discover stories that spark their imagination and guide them on their reading adventures.

You can find me in the library, ready to assist anyone in finding that perfect book, whether it's hiding on the shelf or a new recommendation.

Some of my favourite books growing up included:

• The Rowan of Rin series by Emily Rodda (the book that got me into reading!)
• Dear Dumb Diary by Jim Benton (The funniest series I've ever read)
• The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister (A beautiful core memory)
• Dragonkeeper by Carole Wilkinson (An awesome fantasy series for kids that want to be challenged by a longer book)

Currently, my favourite book is The Will of the Many by Australian author James Islington, which I recommended for adults that enjoy Greek/Roman inspired fantasy settings with a dark twist.

Whether you're into picture books, non-fiction, graphic novels or just a good old regular novel - I'm here to chat about all things books!
