Wellbeing Report

Monday 5th May was a Pupil Free Day where the whole staff focused on furthering learning with the implementation of the Respectful Relationships (RR) program.
A whole-school approach encourages schools to review their existing procedures and culture to ensure that they model respectful relationships and gender equality practices across the entire school community.
A whole-school approach to RR recognises that schools are:
- a workplace where all staff should feel equally respected, safe and valued and have equal opportunities
- a safe space where young people can learn about gender equality and respectful relationships, in and out of the classroom
- part of the wider community that can model gender equality and respectful relationships.
The current RR focus across the school is:
- Personal Strengths
- Positive Coping Strategies
Super Strengths
Super Strengths are 24 universal traits that reflect the positive parts of our personality. They include qualities like kindness, perseverance, creativity, curiosity, and teamwork. Each student has a unique strengths profile, and by helping them recognise their top strengths (sometimes called their “signature strengths”), we empower them to build self-awareness, resilience, and a sense of purpose. By regularly exploring and celebrating these Super Strengths in our classrooms, we give students the tools to recognise their potential, build meaningful connections, and grow into confident, capable individuals.
See attachment for Term 2 Super Strengths.
The Current Super Strength focus is Love of Learning.
