A Splash of Fun: Colour Run Success at LPS
Our school grounds were transformed into a vibrant sea of colour and laughter as students (and some staff) took part in the much-anticipated Colour Run event in the last week of Term 1. With clouds of pink, blue, green and yellow filling the air, it was a joyful celebration of fun and school spirit.
Students from Prep to Year 6 eagerly joined in, running, walking, and dancing their way through the colourful course. The energy was infectious, and smiles were seen all around as bursts of colour marked every step of the way.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible effort and support behind the scenes. A huge thank you goes out to our Parents and Friends Association (PFA), whose planning and dedication ensured everything ran smoothly. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff who helped co-ordinate the event and to staff and parents who volunteered their time to cheer on students, throw colours, and ensure everyone stayed safe and had a fantastic time.
A special mention to our top fundraisers and the families who supported in such an incredible effort.
Fundraised funds have been allocated to the following:
- $10,000 to decodable books for the Junior School
- $15,000 to additional drinking troughs at the school (outside of the gymnasium and at the east of the property - near the Year 3 portables)
Mothers Day thank you
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our Mother’s Day Stall. Whether you helped set up, volunteered, or stopped by to purchase a gift—your kindness and support made it a success. Together, we have helped bring smiles to many special mums!
We hope that this Mother’s day is spent with loved ones; remembering and sharing moments of why mothers or mother like people, are so important in our lives.
