Writer’s Workshop: we are currently exploring the ‘parts of speech’ in our writing. These are nouns, verbs, adjectives, conjunctions, and prepositions. We will be learning about what these are and how we use them in their writing.
Mathematics: We will spend time this week exploring fractions. We will begin by using physical objects to represent fractions. We will also look at how we can collect data.
Unit of Inquiry:
This term we are inquiring into our Where We Are in Place and Time unit of inquiry – with a focus on places. This week we will be going deeper with our inquiry into connections to places and exploring significant places in Adelaide.
