Dear Families,
As we prepare for Mother's Day, we look to Mary, the Mother of Jesus, as our timeless role model. Her unwavering faith and resilience remind us that motherhood is a profound blessing, often defined by quiet sacrifices and immense love. Whether you are a mother by birth, adoption, or foster care; or a godmother, grandmother, or spiritual mother; your journey is one of incredible strength. As we lead to Mother’s Day, let us reflect on Mary’s example and express our gratitude through prayer and appreciation for all the women who shape our lives.
Tomorrow: A Day of Celebration
We are looking forward to hosting our mothers and special motherly figures for a morning of fun and connection tomorrow. Please join us for:
- Dance & Energy: Move and groove with the Footsteps Dance Crew in the hall.
- In the Classroom: Activities specifically designed to celebrate our mums.
- Capture the Moment: Visit our Photobooth for a special photo with your child/ren.

A special thank you to the mums who coordinated our Mother’s Day Stalls. It is a true blessing that our children have such dedicated parents creating these experiences, allowing them the chance to acknowledge and celebrate their mums in such a meaningful way.

Parish Cake Sale
St Andrew's Parish Mother’s Day Bake Sale is happening this weekend of 9th–10th May, and we warmly invite our school families to be part of this special event!
We’re seeking donations of homemade baked goods—sweet or savoury—such as cupcakes, slices, biscuits, cakes, quiches, or sausage rolls. If you’re able to contribute, please drop off your items to the Parish office on Friday, 8th May between 10am-3:30pm or in the church foyer prior to the weekend Masses on 9th and 10th May.
Kindly list the ingredients used in baking. For further information please contact the parish office on 9551 5666.
We’d also love to see you there! Come along after Mass to support the sale and pick up a treat for Mother’s Day, share with family, or enjoy yourself.
