EISM Cross Country

2025 EISM Cross Country

On Wednesday 10 September, the top 10 male and female runners from each age group competed in the 2025 EISM Cross Country Carnival at Ruffey Lake Park. The Huntingtower EISM team proudly represented the school, running a challenging and hilly 3km course in varying weather conditions - sunny, cloudy and rainy.

In the overall championship, Huntingtower placed 4th out of 7 schools. We finished tied for 5th in the boys’ aggregate trophy, narrowly missed out with 2nd place in the girls’ aggregate trophy, and won the U15 Girls age group pennant.

We want to thank our entire EISM team for giving their best, whether or not they placed in the top 10 or finished on the podium. Your effort and dedication, both on the day and during early morning trainings, were truly appreciated. As Kalan said, cross country is a sport of grit, determination and resilience, and everyone demonstrated these qualities with their hard work and outstanding performances at the carnival.

Finally, a huge thank you to Mrs Baynham, Ben, the Sports Department and all staff who supported the team during early morning trainings and on race day. We are incredibly grateful for your time and support. None of this would have been possible without you.
