Cassia 1 & 2 News

ROSE GODDALL, LETETIA POLYCHRONOPOULOS, MAZ WARD & SOPHIE NUGENT

Well, we are in the last week of Term 1 already and it has been a very busy last couple of weeks. The Cassia children have been grinding flour and churning butter in preparation for our Autumn Festival tomorrow. The children have been practicing a humorous morning circle about a little round bun who rolls out the door and goes on an adventure.

Families are invited to watch the morning circle at 11am on Thursday and to share in breaking bread with the children afterwards. Bread made from the especially grinded flour and butter churned by the children themselves.

The weather has been wet, and the children have had lots of fun playing in the puddles and finding so much vitality in themselves with the cooler weather. It is good to see the children coming with warm clothes for the change in season and also with spare clothes and a raincoat for wetter days. Please continue to dress your child warmly in the months to come. A spare pair of socks in their bag is also a good idea so their feet stay dry.

We will be back on Tuesday 15th until Thursday 17th and then it will be the Easter weekend. If you have decided to take an extended holiday and will be away in the first week back, please can you email Edith at the office so that we know who will be away.

Enjoy your holiday break, we look forward to seeing you when we come back together in Term 2.

Thank you
